My name is Zizi Makki, and in June 2021 I started hosting 'Quran Study.' Which is a virtual community - via Zoom - that welcomes women of any faith to discuss a Surah (a Chapter in the Quran) of the week.
Last year, Ramadan 2023, our community Islamic Women of Faith hosted its 2nd fundraiser to raise money for families in need of meals. We were able to raise $15,200, reaching 18 countries, and feeding about 9,250 people.

Our goal this year is to surpass last year. Feeding more people for Ramadan 2024, inshallah.
The women in Quran Study are from all over the world, which has given us access to trusted contacts overseas that are willing to purchase and distribute food items on our behalf.
May Allah bless them for their acts of kindness, and for your donations. At the end of Ramadan, a compiled video of all donations will be available for everyone to see.

* Update, 3/28/2024; Due to the overwhelming and amazing funds received for this fundraiser, Islamic Women of Faith will be using a small percentage of proceeds from this fundraiser to fully execute and launch a 501c3 for future and year round donations. This comes with the sole purpose of taxes, and establishing Islamic Women of Faith as a nonprofit organization. Solidified updates will be provided once an accountant has fully reviewed all information. Thank you, again, for your immense support in year 3 of feeding families around the world. May Allah return your generosity in ten fold.
