Women In Stereo

5% of professionals in the audio industry are female and we want to change that.

We are raising funds for Women In Stereo , a non-profit organisation focused on addressing the gender divide in the audio and music industries through showcasing female artists and practitioners through female fronted audio production and music performance, with the intention of inspiring more women to enter these industries in the future.

Women In Stereo is a final project for our Audio Degree and is run by two young women hoping to make a real difference in our industry.

We are raising funds to cover the costs of two projects hosted by Women In Stereo:
1. A collaborative album and live streamed album launch gig featuring local female fronted bands and artists 
2. A documentary following the production of the album and exploring the female experience in the audio and music industries 

Donations will go towards covering elements such as:
- Album distribution
- Venue hire
- Equipment hire
- Website costs
- Live stream costs
- Advertising

Any contribution to our cause will be greatly appreciated as you will be providing a voice to women in these industries, as well as inspiring the next generation of women pursuing careers in audio and music.

Production begins in September so funds are needed urgently in order for this project to happen.
