Dad trying to fill wife’s shoes by making hot meal

Today has been a pretty long day. I got a phone call that most people hate to get, that a family member was hurt. My wife Silver Taylor was hurt while shopping today. Today someone’s carelessness or intent caused my wife pain. Someone put by mistake or on purpose a razor blade in the plastic part of the shopping cart. And silver not seeing it got cut up pretty good, to the point of losing enough blood to pass out. See, what many people know and most don’t, is that silver has to take blood thinners. Her INR has been off so the dr prescribed a change. A change which, while at the hospital today, was a 4.27... if you know about INR, you want to be at about a 1. This pretty much make your blood thin as water so any cut will make it come out. This also makes your extremities very cold and knumb. Plus the 30 degree weather, she never even knew she had cut herself. Thank you to the nice couple silver was speaking to while at the pharmacy to notice the blood dripping from her hand. You can see the cuts on her hand. Who would just do that while buy food for our kids and picking up a prescription? But here is our local media and their take on it. https://cbsaustin.com/news/local/cedar-park-pd-woman-injured-by-razor-blade-stuck-in-shopping-cart-handle

Beyond upset about that report right now. Beyond upset about what happened to my wife. Instantly questioning whether my wife would do this to herself? Wow. G Denise Maldonado Tracie Diaz Rogalinski prayers for my wife right now please.

Side effects of blood thinners:

Blood thinners may cause side effects in some people. Excessive bleeding is the most common reaction. It can occur in a variety of ways, including:

heavy periods
bloody or discolored urine or feces
nosebleeds
bleeding gums
prolonged bleeding from a cut
Other side effects can include:

dizziness
muscle weakness
hair loss
rashes
Numbness of extremities

Silver is our cook, hair stylist, bath time scrubber, her hobbies include drawing and playing volleyball, she is the laundry person, the maid, the nurse when my boys get hurt as well as being homeroom mom for each of our children’s classrooms, she organizes charities, but most of all we have yet to have a cooked meal since the 13 of November. Using a knife is impossible, picking up a gallon of milk is torture. My children need stability and that’s what Silver enforces everyday with my boys.
