A very warm hello! My name is Karen Geraghty and I am a chef residing in London. For the past few years, I’ve been producing a series called “Woman Crush Wednesday” where each week I choose a female chef and re-create one of her recipes live on Snapchat. I finish it off with a Love Story about each chef on my blog http://yankeedoodlepaddy.com/woman-crush-wednesday/ Today, Wednesday September 12th, is the 100th episode.
My purpose in life is to spread LOVE. It’s a dream of mine to compile the first 100 of these Woman Crush Wednesday recipes and Love Stories into a book with proceeds going to a charity benefiting women! The chosen charity which will receive these funds, is Women Chefs & Restaurateurs (WCR) Scholarship Program. Each year, WCR awards unique learning opportunities for women seeking culinary training and continuing education in the foodie world. All of the proceeds from the sale of the Woman Crush Wednesday cookbook will go to this wonderful charity. But I need your help to get this book printed so that I can sell them to then raise money for the WCR Scholarship Program. This has the potential to change a woman's life by providing culinary training. As well, the aim of the book is to bring awareness to the importance of women in the culinary world through the LOVE stories of all 100 honorees (who come from all over the globe).
The name of every donor will be included the book (unless you ask to be anonymous).
