Danny Johansen

Hello everyone, we are raising money for Danny Johansen.  Danny was admitted to the Hospital on Saturday.  On Sunday they discovered he has necrotizing fasciitis (flesh eating bacteria).  He was rushed to emergency surgery as soon as it was discovered.  This was the first of many surgeries that he will have.  The Doctor's will have to keep going back in until they are sure that all the bacteria is removed. They will have to do this every 2 days.  He is now intubated and sedated until at least Tuesday.  He has also has low blood pressure and a high heart rate.  His labs have improved some since he arrived on Saturday, but he has a long road to recovery ahead of him.  Danny is very strong and a fighter, we know he can get through this but it is going to be a long fight so any help that you can give is appreciated.  Danny has worked as a police officer/security officer for 38 years, we are not sure how long he will be out of work and if he will even be allowed to go back to full duty.  All proceeds will be going towards his medical and living expenses as he recovers.
