Fire damage

On Tuesday 19th July on the hottest day of the year a fire destroyed 3 family homes and severely damaged several others on the street including my 90 year old Nans house (who has dementia) Luckily none of us were at the property at the time and we are all ok. The fire has destroyed one of her garages,destroyed all the fencing and garden,melted the cladding on the house and damaged the roofing to the garage joined to the house.I finally had confirmation than nan does have buildings insurance and I am waiting to see what the building insurance will cover but unfortunately nan didn’t have contents insurance and there is quite a bit of smoke damage inside.I would like to try and raise funds to sort the garden,Get new carpets and re decorate.She is currently in respspite at the minute as her husband passed away on the 29th March and she needs 24 hour care which I just can’t give at the minute due to my own health reasons.Many of you know I still bring her home a few hours a day but can’t whilst her home looks like that.
