Roxy

Early morning on 12/19 Roxy started feeling unwell out of nowhere. She completely lost her appetite, wouldn’t drink water, and started vomiting frequently. We ended up taking her to an urgent appointment and the vet took a full senior blood panel with the expectation to receive results on a Monday 12/21. Last night she was acting unlike herself with pacing back and forth and looking like she wasn’t all there while staring at the wall every so often. We called the vet and they determined today an urgent need to see Roxy again.

Fast forward - Roxy’s blood panel came
back with extremely heightened levels in some areas which eluded to liver failure. Our local vet conducted an x-ray and
didn’t identify a mass so he said there
might be hope. They sent us over to Dove Lewis Animal Hospital in Portland, OR
for further treatment. 

The estimated cost starts at $2,500 for
treatment and we decided tonight was
not the time to give up. This is not a
position we ever envisioned us in, but
here we are. We know it’s around the
holidays, but we’re just asking for your
