Please help Keith and Suella Gran

My husband, Keith Gran is in the hospital and I need to be with him and can't work.

Keith had a "severe" pancreatitis attack and gall stones that put him in the hospital in Moses Lake. We all thought it would be a simple gall bladder removal. Well, that was the day before his birthday, May 11th.

May 12th, on his 50th birthday, his doctor sent him to a specialist in Wenatchee by ambulance. Then complications started - pancreas was too inflamed for surgery so needed to wait, he was put on antibiotics and pain meds. Monday night May 15th he stopped breathing and CPR was performed in addition to giving him epinephrine to get him back. He's been in ICU since then (14 days and counting) on a ventilator tube to help him breathe. He had a sepsis infection from the pancreatitis and then also developed a Cdiff infection. We had a hard time waking him up from the initial sedation after his breathing tube was put in place so finally the doctor removed all pain and sedation meds. Doctors then found his limb and body movement and responses to be limited and have diagnosed him with Polyneuropathy which is affecting the nerves and muscles in his shoulders, arms and hands. We are seeing a little movement in toes, feet and legs, and he moves his head left and right on command. He had some respiratory issues last night and the doctors are now going to do a tracheotomy because it is unhealthy to be on a vent tube this long.

So once he is strong enough he will need rehab either here or another facility (Spokane maybe) for a number of months. Keith's disability should cover payments on the house but the rest of our bills / medical care for him is going to be a huge struggle  
plus any travel to and from Wenatchee, all with no personal income to do so will be a struggle as well . I'm not one to ask for help and I'm very independent and this is hard...but I need any help I can get financially from friends and family
