Witnessing a MIRACLE in PNG

Velma Ninjipa was shot in the face on good Friday at 9:00pm at Winzu Lodge Boroko in the motels car park. Since then she has been admitted to PIH. She went through first surgery where two pallets were removed from her face. She has a broken jaw and shattered teeth. After X-ray this morning doctor has advised that there are still 4 more pellets lodged in her face and this will require a second surgery. However, they are unable to perform surgery right now until jaw is healed or stable. This will take one week to stabilize the jaw. The one week of hospitalization and surgery following this will cost so much money. K14,000.00 two weeks in hospital. K20,000.00 surgery. K16,000.00 is for other medical costs associated with it as well as many other expenses.
As many of you know I met Velma Ninjipa in 2000 on my last missions trip to Papua New Guinea and brought her back to the states with me. She was a scared 16 yr old girl a world away from her PNG family. Velma quickly became an important part of our family and continues to be. Since being here she has attended Penn View Bible Institute and travelled and sang for the school. She later graduated and went back to PNG to teach and help in every way God has led her. I’m starting this GO FUND ME page to help with hospital bills, and other expenses accrued during this time to help relive some of the stress of it all. Yesterdays xray showed of 4 more pellets still embedded inside her face two on the right side and two went clear across to the left side.
The xray also showed the broken jaw and two teeth knocked out. This will require surgery again to remove the remaining pellets, dental surgery and pin the jaw.Thank God for a friend who paid for bed and the first surgery.
We've agreed to forgive those who shot us as Jesus did on that Good Friday Morning when hanging on that cruel Cross cried out and said, "Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." We have forgiven our attackers.
Please help us pray for surgery to remove the pellets, for the jaw bone to join, dentist to repair the teeth and for the funds to come in to pay for the hospital bill. PIH is a private hospital which is what is needed for her to get the best care.
