"Lauren's Battle"

My wife was diagnosed with lupus in 2007. Just on may 8th 2015 her potassium dropped to 1.3, she woke and lost full function from her waist down and almost went into cardiac arrest. After 4 days in ICU her diagnosis is unknown for why the potassium dropped but was diagnosed with Hypokalemia Periodic  Paralysis by her Renial doctor. Her neurologist doctor aid he has only seen one other case and thatp patient past away by cardiac arrest. The doctor can't prescribe the proper medication without a genetic test being done. She has insurance and with insurance we have to pay $6,000 up front, So hopefully with generous donations we will be able to have a genetic test scheduled. We aren't ones to ask for a handout and are the first ones to help others but with a husband and two small children their mothers health is important ... Thanks Clemons Family
