With Faith and Love: Help Us Honor Saul’s Life
Beschermde donatie
A few weeks ago, I met Norma after finding her lost dog. I thought I was just returning a pet—but little did I know, the Lord had placed me in her life for something so much greater.
Norma’s beloved brother, Saul, had recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. He had been hospitalized for some time, and Norma who does not speak or understand English well- was left navigating deep emotional pain and overwhelming financial hardship alone. Saul was their sole provider, and his illness has left her in a vulnerable and desperate situation.
This weekend, I was by Norma’s side as Saul peacefully entered the presence of our Lord. It was a sacred moment, and I couldn’t help but ask God why He brought two strangers together under such circumstances. And yet, I know now—He had a purpose.
Norma and her family are struggling in ways most of us cannot imagine. Even the simple act of honoring Saul’s life through a proper burial—a wish rooted in their faith—feels out of reach. But we believe in a God of provision, a God who makes a way when there seems to be none.
Today, I humbly ask, that you consider making a donation of love. We’ve found a reasonably priced option for Saul’s burial, and though our financial goal is small, the need is great. Every gift helps carry this out Saul’s wishes due to their belief.
Though I never had the blessing of meeting Saul while he was healthy, Norma tells me he was a man of deep compassion, a lover of animals, and always ready to help those in need. It is now our turn to do the same for him.
In this time of sorrow, let us come together in faith and love to honor his final wishes. If you feel led, please join us in being the hands and feet of Jesus.
With hope and gratitude,
