Hello! Thank you for reading our story. My daughter, Eva, is 5 months old and she was diagnosed with a deformation that can greatly affect her brain development and growth.

She is scheduled for surgery in Colombia on December 9, 2023 to correct the problem. However, the surgery is not covered by her insurance and we need all the help we can get.

Eva requires daily physiotherapy sessions and numerous check-ups. Colombia is the best course of action for her health as it is extremely urgent that she has the surgery when she turns 6 months old. Going back to Canada would mean having her surgery later on, which could have long-term consequences in her development.

Asking for money sucks, but at this point, we really need to rely on community and friends. Any dollar helps.

Quisiera darles las gracias por leer nuestra historia. A mi hija Eva le encontraron una deformación en su cabezita la cual afecta el crecimiento y desarrollo de su cerebro por tanto es necesario hacerle una cirugía en un mes. Aunque tenemos seguro de salud, este no va cubrir nada del procedimiento que de por sí es muy costoso.

Les pido que si tienen la capacidad me ayuden a recaudar fondos para poder pagar el procedimiento. En estos momento cualquier $ y/o compartir nuestra hsitoria nos puede ayudar mucho.

Tendremos la cirugía en Colombia porque desafortunadamente en Canadá hay pocos neurocirujanos y el procedimiento no la harían a los 6 meses, lo cual es ideal para evitar problemas a largo plazo. Me siento con las manos atadas y con toda la pena del mundo les pido su ayuda.
