What is the WIRTH Hats Counselling Program?
During Covid-19 we have received a thousand percent increase in the demand for online counselling support. In order to meet this increase in demand we need to bring more funds into the WIRTH counselling program.
Our goal is to be a 1for1 foundation, where every hat sold pays for one counselling session, but we're not there yet so we are fundraising to augment our hat sales to be able to support more people who are in need of support.
When WIRTH Hats was founded, our ultimate goal was always to reduce barriers for access to affordable counselling.
Each individual who is sponsored by the WIRTH Hats counselling fund will receive 8 sessions of free online counselling with a possibility for further support.

We aim to break down barriers, promote an open dialogue around mental health and ending the stigma surrounding counseling and therapy. Our goal is simple, we want everyone in the world; to know they are not alone, be willing to have a real conversation about their mental health, be willing to listen to others and never be afraid to own your “wirth”. WIRTH Hats are made in Vancouver, BC with the highest quality fabric and a lot of love. Our goal over the next year is to support a 1000 people to counselling or therapy who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
