Winston's Cancer Fund

Winston is Lauren's Diabetic Alert Service dog and has been trained to diligently check her blood sugar levels, helping her live with Type 1 diabetes. Whether you have seen Winston around the SRV campus, or simply just around Danville you know that is he is always by Lauren's side. With only being together for 6 months the two are simply inseparable! Over the past month, Winston stopped eating and began acting differently from his normal self. After multiple vet visits, x-rays, ultrasounds, and an exploratory surgery, Winston was diagnosed with an extremely rare type of cancer in a tumor traditionally found in babies known as a Primitive neuroectodermal tumor. With the tumor taking over nearly 1/3 of Winston's abdomen, it has been harder for him to maintain his full-time job of Lauren's health. Unfortunately, the path to making Winston better comes with a large price tag. Winston needs treatments of radiation and chemotherapy, please help out your fellow wolf pack member Winston and his family! Anything helps!:)
