Debra has lymphedema, and is bed-ridden. She has had to quit work and is on disability. She has been contacted by a specialized rehab center in Ohio that specializes in bariatric lymphedema patients. This treatment could get her back on her feet. It will cost over $4,000 to get her up there, and $50,000 for the treatment. Medicare will pay only 21 days.
