Willows wish to walk

Willow was born prematurely at 29weeks and due to issues at birth she developed damage to her brain which caused her to have cerebral palsy. Her diagnosis is spastic/dystonic quadriplegic cerebral palsy with her right side being more affected.
Willows cerebral palsy means she struggles everyday to perform simple tasks that we all take for granted and she has spasticity in her body. This makes moving difficult and leaves her body tight and stiff which also causes pain, disrupts sleep and means she easily fatigues.
At the moment Willow is involved in daily therapies, uses a walker to get around with assistance and relies heavily on her family to help her perform day to day tasks.
Willow has been accepted to have a major life changing operation called SDR in St. Louis with Dr Parks. This surgery is performed in the lower part of the spine by severing through nerves to reduce the spasticity in her body. While this isn't a cure to her cerebral palsy without this spasticity, her body won't be as restricted, she will have better posture and control, gain the ability to move in and out of positions with more ease, be more comfortable and in less pain, have a better quality of life and it is expected she will be able to walk independently on all surfaces.
At this stage the operation will go ahead In september 2019 although Willow is on a waiting list for an earlier date. The only obstacle and downfall is that the operation comes at a huge cost and the extensive and strict therapy that Willow will need for at least 18months afterwards won't take long to add up with each session averaging $175 per hr.
This operation is another huge hurdle that we know Willow will get through with her feisty, determined I can do anything attitude. We are on a mission to make her dream of walking a reality, so are extremely grateful and appreciative for any help we can get.
