Willie L. Williams Jr. Funeral

Desperately in need of assistance service will be canceled if not paid in full by 5pm the day before scheduled service. Funeral home will not accept any payment arrangements. Willie L.Williams Jr. AKA "SMOKEY" a disabled Vietnam Veteran suddenly passed away at his residence on Saturday 10/06/2018 and I was devastated to find him when arrived to drop off groceries and visit.  My sister and I truly heartbroken.  We believed that because of his veteran status that we would receive assistance from the VA  to offset funeral costs only to learn we were terribly mistaken, imagine our disappointment. Unfortunately our father was not aware of VA life and upon obtaining the knowledge wasn't able to secure his benefits in time.  Although the VA will cover the actual burial w/military honors at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery, we must endure the costly funeral service and transport to the cemetery etc. and we are honestly and regrettably financially unable. My sister and I are hesitantly yet humbly PLEADING for assistance with the funeral service so we may properly and respectfully lay this Vietnam Airborne Veteran to rest in a dignified manner. Any amount would be greatly appreciated to help us reach our goal.
