Williamson Tragedy, Ms. Honey

Donation protected
On January 18, 2023, three family members of Kimsha (Williamson) Rosensteel, owner of Honey Chile Please, were traveling through St Robert, MO when another driver struck their car killing 1 and injuring 2 others.

Minerva Williamson, Kimsha's mother was killed while her father and sister sustained injuries. Her father Mack Williamson (Retired Combat Engineer US Army), Minerva's beloved husband, was transported to Springfield, MO to care for his serious injuries. Mia Williamson, daughter of the Williamsons and sister to Kimsha was taken to a Rolla hospital for her injuries, has been released to continue healing at home, but is struggling with the trauma and her own wounds.

High school sweethearts, Mack and Minerva were married 53 years and were retired residents of Pulaski County for 33 years. Minerva was a beautiful soul who cherished her 4 beautiful, gifted children, grandchildren and was excited about her birthday in March.

When the family notified their extended family about the tragic news, 8 members of Mack's family left various towns in Texas to travel to Missouri for support and assistance. The Texas family gathered together in one SUV and traveled hours to support their brother, uncle, cousin and to offer support and assistance with Minerva's funeral to her children and grandchildren.

Only miles from the hospital where Mack was receiving care, the SUV, carrying the 8 family members was struck head on by a truck heading the wrong direction down the freeway at 1 am Friday morning. The driver of the families SUV had no time to react to avoid the oncoming truck. Which resulted in a collision that claimed the lives of 3 more family members, 2 other family members are still in critical care and receiving treatment in Springfield, MO. The other 3 were treated for their injuries and released.

The family members who lost their lives were:

Sharon Farmer, Mack's sister also a Mother/Grandmother and a retired Healthcare worker.
Ukena Farmer, Mack's niece, daughter of Sharon Farmer. Worked in Human Resources, Mother of 2 beautiful children and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
Steven Figgens, brother in law to Mack, retired Healthcare worker.

Family members injured in this accident were:

Antonio Williamson, Mack's brother and School Principal
Pamela Taylor , Mack's sister, Mother of 3 beautiful children. She works in the Texas school system
Angela Groden, Mack's sister, works for the Dallas Correctional department
Janice Figgens, Mack's sister and wife of Steven (now deceased), is currently on a respirator in critical care in Springfield.

Losing a family member or a loved one is hard enough. But this family has lost 4 members within days of each other. While other family members are still hospitalized or healing from their injuries in a hotel. This has taken an emotional toll on this large, loving and beautiful family.

We are trying to collect money to help offset the financial burden for those surviving family members, to help offset the unexpected hotel, food costs, and other assistance. Also to help pay for the flights to get their living and deceased, loved ones home when they are medically released.

The family truly appreciates your giving hearts, the prayers, supportive words and gestures.
