William's Glioblastoma fight

This is our big brother. He was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, the most aggressive cancer that begins within the brain. This happened so quickly, the day after Thanksgiving. He was dizzy and had a loss of balance a couple of times so he went to the ER. After doing some tests they found 3 tumors. One was about 4cm and was mostly removed by surgery on November 26th. He has two others that have not been removed due to their location. We are looking to get another opinion from UCLA neuro-oncology - one of the best in the country.

Treatment for this type of aggressive cancer will last indefinitely. Although insurance will cover a majority of medical expenses, including traditional treatments (radiation, chemotherapy and optune therapy), his insurance will not cover all of the alternative treatment options.

William, Billy, Bill…Bilbo….are just a few of the names family and friends have called him over the years……he’s also an Airborne Ranger so he knows how to fight hard with everything he’s got. Our brother is brave, honorable and has one of the biggest hearts any human can have. His fight will not be easy and his journey is just beginning.

Our family doesn't believe that either. If anyone can beat this, it’s our brother; with his positive spirit and strength from a loving family and so many friends.
