Williams Dominica Fund

Roosevelt Skerritt, the Prime Minister of Dominica described the "desolation of Dominica as unimaginable".

We as a family are heartbroken at the devastation Hurricane Maria has left. Pointe Michel, the community that our parents Hasselt and Selma Williams, live in was one of the hardest hit areas. They have lost their entire roof and as a result, everything was destroyed by water damage. We are thankful that our parents were able to be airlifted out of Dominica and are safely recuperating with us here in Canada. They are planning to go back and help rebuild their home and community.

After we shared our parents' story with many of you, you so kindly expressed an interest in what would be the best way to help. Therefore, as a response to your interest we as a family have decided to create this page for you to make a donation directly to this cause.

Once the needs of Hasselt and Selma Williams have been met, all additional funds will be reallocated to address the greatest needs of the individuals/ families within the Pointe Michel community.

Thank you for your interest and generosity in helping our family. Any donation amount is sincerely appreciated and we will keep you updated on the rebuilding progress.

Thank you and God bless from the Williams Family.
