WHY THE HAMMERS RUGBY CLUB?

Do you or someone you know LOVE Rugby and want to impact the rugby community?

Do you believe that youth sports, like rugby, are impactful in the lives of our youth?

If so, can you join us in making a difference in the lives of the Hammers Rugby Club youth boys and girls athletes aged 6 to 18 from all over Northern Colorado?

These young rugby players are eager for your support! The Hammers Rugby Club (formerly Fort Collins Youth Rugby Club) is a non-profit organization established in 1985 that has grown to include high school girls and boys teams and has established a robust youth Try category with as many as 100+ athletes.

Hammers Rugby is proud of our many athletes that have competed across Colorado on the High School All-State Rugby team and our athletes who were invited to join and travel with select teams across Colorado. Hammers Rugby teams have won State and National titles, most recently the 2022 High School Boys D2 Division and Series Champs and the High School Girls D1 Division Champions!

We look forward to inviting even more kids to join our rugby club to become part of our Hammers Rugby Club family.

The Hammers board and coaching staff are proud of our club's inclusiveness and diversity. Aspiring or veteran ruggers of any age, gender, demographic, nationality or athletic ability are welcome and encouraged to join our family! We want to share our love of rugby with every child athlete in Northern Colorado.

The coaches are working overtime to provide our athletes with the essentials to be competitive on and off the pitch. Still, we are finding it difficult during this economic climate, and with your help, we can help ease our families' financial burden.

What will your gift be used for?

Hammers Rugby is raising money to provide our athletes with access to the following:

1. financial scholarships to help cover the cost of registration fees for our athletes

2. purchase essential equipment (ruck pads, sideline coaching system, player rugby kit bags, balls, field cones & flags, and post pads)

3. field rental fees

4. team kits

5. cleats and mouthguards

6. a team tent for game day to keep our athletes protected from the elements

6. relief fund for team travel expenses
