Will Needs Help with Caregivers

I have had MS for over 30 years, as many of you know. For most of this time, I have been able to continue to work, volunteer and/or live independently with very little help. Those days, unfortunately, have come to an end. This past summer, I experienced several TIA’s that left me incapacitated for most of a day. As it’s unpredictable when these events may happen, I can no longer be alone 24/7. So, I am asking for some help. I have a wonderful live-in caregiver and other help who are invaluable to me.

This kind of help costs a lot of money. I am doing everything in my power to stay in my home and not have to go to a facility. I am on a fixed income with a little in savings. As I am only 65, I could potentially have many years left where I need help with my care. I am asking for any help I can get to pay for these services. Thank you in advance for your consideration. I am truly grateful to all the wonderful friends who have been there for me when I needed a ride to the Dr. or grocery store, to change a light bulb, cut my grass, pick me up off the floor, wash my dishes, share a meal with me or fix a leaky pipe. I really can’t do it without you.
