WILDCHILD OF THE UNIVERSE IS HERE! A poetry & love letter book where we can meet, connect and transend.
Wildchild of the Universe is a book of poems, letters and audiovisual experiences that support the liberating process of overcoming trauma and the sweet taste of enjoying life once again. You've heard them blaze through your mind in the final wakeful moments of your day, they are the words you think you ought to write down when the weight of sleep is too seductive. They are the late night confessions and the spirited plans spoken just before sunrise, all the ideas you'll surely remember in the morning but you never do.
These words facilitate a safe haven for the cold, deserted nights. Offering the warmth of a friend's shoulder, singing the words your mind does not dare to think, they bring you back to your inner Wildchild.
As you explore Letters from a Wildchild of the Universe, you will find QR codes, portals inviting you to understand the poems through a different lens. Compositions, animations, short films… This is an immersive exploration of our inner wilderness, co-created by interdisciplinary artists.
The path to picking up your version of Letters from a Wildchild of the Universe leads through an immersive performance, specifically created to prepare you for the journey the book will guide you through. It will only be open on Samhain, 31st of October, where the veil to the Otherworld opens and reveals its secrets.
In the courtyard, you will be greeted with food, music, and wonderful humans.Reisum Lab will be open and Edible Alchemy will be offering drinks. After entering the experience, you will walk through five floors, each of them welcoming you with an art installation representing a chapter of the book. At the rooftop, you will receive your version of Letters from a Wildchild of the Universe and are free to join our wicked party.
