Hier is het verhaal van zijn baasje, beste en wanhopige vriendin !

Wie helpt mij mijn Beertje helpen??

Beertje, De Beer, is al bijna 13 jaar mijn beste vriendje, hij heeft mij uitgekozen, er was geen ontkomen aan deze liefde. Gelukkig maar!!

Beer en ik zijn verbonden en daar was, en is niets tegenin te brengen. Het is zo zichtbaar dat het soms bijna tastbaar is ❤️

Sinds het begin dat hij bij mij is, zijn er problemen met zijn gezondheid geweest en ga ik met regelmaat gestresst met hem naar de dierenarts.

Buiten de ongelukjes, gebeten worden, een intolerantie voor kip & rund schiet ik met regelmaat in paniek want hij bijt zich steeds open. Al jaren gaat dit af en aan zo en dit is het probleem waar ik financiële steun voor nodig heb.

Hij heeft waarschijnlijk pijn door een verzakt heiligbeen en misschien is er een probleem met zijn rug. Wij gingen een tijdje naar een osteopaat maar dit was op lange termijn onbetaalbaar voor mij, vervolgens heeft hij bijna twee jaar gabapentine gekregen totdat hij deze medicatie echt weigerde nog te nemen.

Het ging een tijdje beter leek het, vrolijk huppelde hij rond maar bleef ook zichzelf bijten. Beer lijkt steeds verdrietiger, gaat almaar meer trillen en bijt zich constant open rondom zijn achterpoot/dijbeen.

Röntgenfoto’s waren niet voldoende, voor een echt heldere diagnose is een MRI scan nodig, bloedonderzoek, allergie onderzoek en zoals het er nu uitziet waarschijnlijk fysiotherapie.

De dierenarts gaf een voorlopig kostenplaatje van ongeveer €2500

Mijn grootste uitdaging in dit leven is om goed voor hem te zorgen, en doe ik dagelijks naar mijn beste kunnen maar ik kan dit niet alleen, wij hebben hulp nodig.

Deze onvoorwaardelijk liefde is wederzijds en ik schrijf dit met tranen in mijn ogen het voelt alsof ik faal en ik weet niet hoe ik dit op moet lossen. Beertje heeft hier al heel lang last van en mijn best is simpelweg niet toereikend. Wel in liefde, maar niet in geld en daardoor niet in medische zorg.

Beertje verdient een paar mooie laatste jaren en die hoop ik hem via deze weg nog te kunnen geven.

 Beertje, The Bear, has been my best friend for almost 13 years, he chose me, there was no escaping this love. Good thing, too!! 

Beer and I are connected and there was, and there is, nothing that can argue with that. It is so visible that sometimes it is almost tangible ❤️ 

Sincs the beginning of him living me, there have been problems with his health and I regularly take him to the vet, all stressed out in this constant not knowing what is wrong. Apart from the accidents, being bitten, a probable intolerance for chicken & beef, I regularly panic because he keeps biting himself creating hairless raw patches. It looks so painful This has been going on and off for years and this is the problem that I need financial support for. He is probably in pain from a prolapsed sacrum and there may also be a problem with his back. We went to an osteopath for a while but this was unaffordable for me in the long run, then he was on gabapentin for almost two years until he absolutely refused to take this medication again. He seemed a bit better for a while, he happily skipped around but also continued to bite himself. 

 Bear seems increasingly sad, is trembling more and more and constantly bites himself around his hind leg/thigh. X-rays were not enough, for a really clear diagnosis an MRI scan is needed, blood tests, allergy research and as it looks now also physiotherapy. The vet gave a provisional cost estimate of about €2500 My biggest challenge in life is to take good care of him, and I do my best every day but I can't do this alone, we need help.

 This unconditional love is mutual and I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, it feels like I'm failing and I don't know how to fix this. Beertje has been suffering from this for a long time and my best is simply not enough. Well in love it is, but not financially and therefore not in medical care.

 Beertje deserves a couple nice last years with me and I hope to be able to give them to him through this plea for help. Please donate and/or share my cause as there are many animal lovers in this world who will donate for animals they don’t know. Much love ❤️
