Widow Needs Help For New Roof

My mother lost her husband on March 17, 2018. He died of a massive heart attack laying in the bed right beside her asleep. She did CPR on my dad until the paramedics arrived, but they said he was already gone. I was in Florida at the time and I received the phone call at 2 a.m. that changed my life forever.  
She has had to deal with many things since this day that she didn't have to before because my dad always took care of it. We have learned a lot since his death about just how much he took care of for us so we didn't have to worry. She has dropped down to a single income and it has been incredibly hard on her.
She has had to completely change her way of life and start worrying about running out of money for the first time in her life. She has sold their camper, boat, jet ski and my dad's truck to try and make ends meet.
As life would have it, the roof in her bedroom, right over her bed is leaking. The ceiling is starting to crumble and on nights it rains she sleeps with a garbage can beside her to catch the water. She has price checked a metal roof and it has come out to around $5580. I am asking anyone from the bottom of my heart to help my mom out in any way possible. She is so stressed and on edge that she ends up crying any time I try and talk with her.
