Destination Imagination is an international, project-based educational program that encourages innovation, teamwork, critical thinking, and creative problem solving through different STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) Challenges. Destination Imagination’s purpose is to inspire and equip students to become our next generation of innovators and leaders!
Our Jefferson Elementary DI team Random Guess ranked first place in regionals, second place in state, and now they've been invited to compete at the global level where they will compete against 45 states and 15 different countries!
Our amazing team will participate in a four-day tournament from May 22-25 in Kansas City, Missouri! It is a unique opportunity for our team to interact with peers from around the world as they expand their creative problem-solving STEAM skills. The experience is unparalleled but the cost is beyond what the team can afford . The cost of registration fees, housing, and travel adds up to over $10,000 to participate in this event.
This four-day tournament is the culmination of six months of learning and growth for the DI participants. We are seeking donations to support the travel costs (airfare, lodging, and food) for the seven Random Guess team members from Jefferson Elementary School to attend the Destination Imagination Global Finals Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri. We are reaching out to you, our family, friends, and community, to donate to our team and make this opportunity a reality. Please consider donating to our team; no donation is too small to make a difference!
