Accidents Happen! Our dear friend Susan was hit by a car on July 7th while walking to work.  She sustained very serious injuries. Fractured shoulder, 3 fractured vertabra, three fractures in her pelvis and 3 fractures in her knee. Susan faces a long recovery. She has already spent 7 days at UCDMC, 2 of those days were in the SICU.

Susan has been moved to a rehabilitation facility for a least 14 days. Her medical team at UCDMC continues to evaluate her condition with respect to needing surgery. Please consider donating to her wellness fund to help with her general monthly household expense~because we all know bills don't stop!
