Whiskers The Wilton Stray
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I don’t usually like asking for help, however, I feel this is a good cause. My husband and I were out to dinner when my kids and babysitter discovered a young cat/kitten behind our shed. The little guy was laying there and when he tried to get up, they noticed he was limping and unable to put any weight on his rear right leg. Now if you know cats, they don’t normally show signs of distress and are very good at hiding it, so this must’ve been painful. The babysitter faced timed us with concerns from my kids on what to do. We came home and fed him food and water and kept him in our house overnight with plans to go to the vet the following day. My kids named him Whiskers. We have already told them that we cannot keep him as we currently have 3 cats and an 8 month old puppy. My plan is to find him a great home once we nurse him back to good health. After almost three hours at the vet, we confirmed he had a dislocated hip that requires surgery. I asked the vet for financial assistance or a price break since he is a stray, but they wouldn’t help. Between the bill today and the surgery, it’s in the ballpark of 1500.00. I am determined to help this little guy. If we dont help animals, who will?. I appreciate any amount of a donation for him.
