According to Environment Canada, Ottawa can receive about 60 hours of freezing rain in an average winter. In order to continue to provide quality groomed trails and increase the length of our season, our team has made a large investment in a Mueller Ice Tiller.
- Icy and hard compacted trails will be resurfaced and made skiable.
- Trails with little snow can be made to last longer.

Ski Heritage East is a volunteer-run organization that grooms a top-notch winter trail for your outdoor activities. We have over 40km of Trail along the banks of the beautiful Ottawa River for skate and classic skiing, snowshoeing, walking, running, and fat biking.
