Garrett is a funny, happy, big hearted 13-year-old who loves to hunt and fish. He also loves anything with wheels! As his nickname ‘Bear’ implies, Garrett is always willing to give out a loving ‘BEAR-HUG’ to family and friends, but Garrett now needs a HUGE HUG from all of us!
Garrett was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2012 at the age of eight. Duchenne’s is a progressive muscle wasting disease that affects 1 out of every 3,500 males.
Due to his disease, Garrett is losing his ability to walk and needs your help. Garrett just received his first power wheelchair, however he needs a special van that can lift/transport his power-chair back and forth to school along with the other daily activities that every teenager loves!
Please help us to raise the money needed to purchase this specialized van before the new school year starts. A van that will ensure that Garrett is able to live life to the fullest!
