Wheels for a Warrior: Help a Veteran's ALS journey

Donation protected
Our son, brother, Uncle, fly fishing guide, Patrick Shaw, a proud US Army veteran, is facing a daunting battle against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis most commonly known as Lou Gehrig Disease or ALS, diagnosed on May 2, 2023 at the age of 29. After serving his country with courage and dedication, Patrick was discharged as a disabled veteran suffering severe TBI's, he now faces a new fight—one that challenges his independence and everyday life.

ALS is robbing Patrick of his mobility, and adapting his home is crucial. We're raising funds to cover the remaining cost of his wheelchair-accessible vehicle of 60k, install a backup power system for medical equipment, adaptable furniture, medical supplies and supplements, and make any additional necessary home modifications for his safety and comfort that are above and beyond funds available through VA adaption programs.

Every dollar counts in this fight. Your generous contribution will not only ease the financial burden but also bring hope and independence back into Patrick's life. Please join us in supporting Patrick and showing our gratitude for his service. Together, we can help him navigate this journey with dignity and strength.

Also, Please join us in showing our support for Patrick and ALS Awareness through social media with the hashtag #Stache4Pat since Patrick is famous for his mustache!

We sincerely appreciate all the love and support we have received from family, friends, our community and VA medical staff. As our family navigates through this journey with Patrick our strength grows with Patrick’s positive attitude to keep living and staying in the fight!

Much love & hugs, Patrick's family
