Wheelchair accessible vehicle

My wonderful husband, Dave has been diagnosed with a progressive fatal disease call Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). There is no cure or treatment and unfortunatley we must watch our loved one deteriorate before our eyes.
At this stage of Dave's illness, he is wheelchair bound and needs constant supervision for safety and personal care. He is a prisoner in his own home. It is becoming more and more difficult for me to take him out with the travel wheelchair that he uses.
The good thing is that he will be receiving an electric wheelchair within a  month or two. At least that will help him be mobile until he deteriorates to bedbound status. The wheelchair will be great for getting around in the house but we do not have a handicap vehicle to take him out for some enjoyable time. Being able to take Dave out of the house with his electric wheelchair will give him back a bit of dignity  that he has lost since this disease took over. I want Dave to be able to enjoy as much as he can before PSP completely takes over. Our retirement years are not what we thought they would be, but I want to provide the opportunity to give Dave the best days of the life that he has left. A wheelchair vehicle will give us that opprotunity.
