My name is Laurine and I met Isaiah through the school where I work. I have worked with Isaiah for a few years now as his mentor, adviser, and friend.
In December of 2017, Isaiah and his twin brother Aaron (see photo) were victims of gun violence. They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Isaiah (on the right) is now paralyzed from the waist down with limited upper body mobility. Aaron lost some use of his right arm but is otherwise ok. Isaiah was in Seattle Children’s hospital from December 2017 to March 2018. He was released just a few days after his 18th birthday.
This GoFundMe will be used to support Isaiah's business and educational pursuits when he is ready. At this point, he is pretty demoralized and the money is being held for him until a later date.
