Wheelchair Van and Moving HOME Expenses

Donation protected
On Nov. 21 2017, I went to the ER with severe back pain, hallucinating, just not in my right mind. Had to be carried to moms car it hurt so bad.  The Dr. took an MRI and discovered MRSA filled abscesses on my spinal cord. After a few days in the ICU in Duncan, they sent me off for emergency spinal surgery at OU. The first surgery happened on 11/29 (which is my birthday). All went well....so we thought.  a few days later, had another MRI and discovered it had moved up my back and had another MRSA filled abscess higher on my spine. So into emergency surgery we went. During this surgery, I had a stroke. Luckily, it didn't affect my brain, so lucked out there. After the surgery, in recovery, I coded blue. Stopped breathing and all. They got me going again and things seemed well for about a month.   had to re learn to swallow and eat again. Moved back to Duncan for recovery, where during ANOTHER MRI, that it seemed I had another abscess on my neck by the brain stem.  First helicopter ride ever....not how I expected it to be. Get to OU and during surgery, they discovered it was mainly scar tissue from the other surgeries. Again, lucked out there as well.  During either the first or second surgery, something happened that has me paralyzed from the waist down. I am slowly getting feeling back and very slowly getting movement back in my legs. I am FINALLY MOVING HOME in a few weeks, after 7 months in a nursing home. I should have therapy at home and home health to get me back to me again.  Hence this need. I am trying to get a van that is wheelchair accessible so i can go do things. Like dr. appts., grocery shopping, medicine pick up,  heck, maybe even go to a movie! Also, since I am moving home, we are having to move into a bigger space to have room for the wheelchair and the hospital bed and all of my medical equipment. So there are some moving expenses we hadn't planned for. Focused on the medical side and let the living side fall to the wayside one might say.  Any, and I mean ANY kind of help would be super appreciated beyond recognition! I hated to do this to begin with, but I just need some help to become more independent and mobile and just basically feel like a normal person.
