wheelchair for bruce

Two years ago I was in an accident that left me paralyzed. In December of last year I had my first wheelchair made for me but they measured me wrong and made the wheelchair too long. Both the seat and the frame are too long and are leaving little pressure sores on the back of my legs. When I am transferring into cars and into my bed it is harder than it should be because it is so far away. I tried having the company who made the wheelchair shorten the frame and seat but in order to do that they would have to use a new frame and new parts. Insurance will not cover it because they bought me this chair in December. They said my best bet would be to just get a new chair and keep this one for back up.  I am unable to pay for the new chair in full at this time and I was denied financing due to lack of credit.  This is my last option so I'm asking for help to get into the chair that fits me properly.
