Robert's Medical Bills

Hello all, my name is Emily and I am a close friend of Robby's writing on his behalf. About a month ago, Robby's appendix burst and he had emergency surgery performed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Since his surgery, he has suffered several complications, including: abscesses, infections and most recently pulmonary embolisms. Because of the surgery and complications thereafter, Robby has spent nearly a month on and off inpatient at the hospital, including 2 days in the ICU. While he does have health insurance, he has still accrued medical bills and has not been able to return to work to earn income.

 For those of you that know Robby- you know that he is one of the most selfless and generous people! He has the tendency of picking up the entire bill at a restaurant when you aren't looking and is always available for anyone in need. He even goes out of his way to cook delicious meals for his friends when they aren’t feeling well. His laughter and smile are contagious and he has ability to stay positive in the worst circumstances. I know I am a better person with Robby in my life.

We are asking for any donations (none are too small!) to help alleviate Robby of the financial burdens he is facing these coming months. Thank you so much for your thoughts and consideration!
