Dear Friends and community of the Westhampton Beach Robotics Team P.R.I.D.E 3171 Long Island Regional Champions,
The WHB Team P.R.I.D.E. Robotics team won the SBPLI Regional Competition at Hofstra University last weekend! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm1ddP-fLm0
They have been invited to attend the FRC Championship in St. Louis, Missouri April 22-25, 2015 see( http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/first-championship ).
The team still needs to raise approximately $20,000. We are still in need of donors for additional trip expenses. The bus and hotel alone exceed $20,000. This is excluding food and additional expenses. We are reaching out to everyone… Business associates, companies, colleagues, friends to ask for any donations that will help our team make this trip possible. Time is of the essence in order to commit to the reservations necessary for the team...
We are so very proud of each student. It is a real joy to continue to experience these amazing events with them.
