what's wrong with Amy's brain?

Almost two months ago, I began experiencing weakness and lack of coordination in my left hand. after a CAT scan and having my Seattle doctors weigh in, there was no evidence of anything wrong, so I went home. However 4 days later when it was still happening and getting worse, I went to another ER where they performed an MRI of my brain that was very troubling. Again, after consulting with my team in Seattle, I was transferred to Harborview Medical Center. Unfortunately, after 8 days and countless tests, they could not determine what was going on except that there is inflammation in my brain. They do not know (yet) what is causing it.  the last 3 weeks, my symptoms have worsened to the point that I cannot use my left arm  or hand at all and my walking is very clumsy and unstable, consequently, we have have made 5 emergency room visits, 5 trips back and forth to Seattle, spent almost two weeks in the hospital, and caused my supportive husband to miss many unpaid days of work. We still do not know where this will end, but the extra travel, loss of income.$20/day parking,  meals out and co-pays have blown up our budget, we know for sure that we have at least one more week of tests and hospital stay. After that, we don't know. Further hospital time will be based on any possible treatment plan. We are thankful for your love and prayers. We know that they have sustained our spirits. We would be so grateful for your support in this financial request as it would sustain our ability to keep searching for answers.
