Our son Hunter is such a miracle, and we want to be able to provide everything that he needs. At times we run into financial hurdles, and recently this has been the case for us.
Hunter has had to have multiple surgeries since birth due to being born with Femoral Facial Syndrome. Our son’s many upcoming surgeries and constant doctor’s appointments are costly, often requiring that we take time off work without pay. We created this GoFundMe to ask for help paying for little Hunter’s medical needs. Anything you can give is hugely appreciated. Hunter currently sees several specialists at Kaiser Permanente, including a head and neck surgeon, a plastic surgeon, and an orthopedic surgeon.
Hunter has already had two jaw distractions, which is a plastic surgery to extend the jaw and help Hunter breathe better, as well as a palate repair so he can learn to speak. Upcoming surgeries include a hip reconstruction, and femur lengthening so that Hunter can learn to walk.
Hunter has been referred to see Dr. Paley, an orthopedic miracle worker in Florida for the hip reconstruction. He has an upcoming appointment to see him for the first time in December 2018.
All donations will go toward doctor’s appointment copays, speech and physical therapy appointments, hospital bills, and transportation to Florida to see Dr. Paley.
