Please Help Me Move

hello and thank you to everyone taking their out to read this. my name is samiyah, i’m a young queer woman currently trying to move out of my current apartment because my living situation has become almost unbearable. i am living with an ex and it’s become such an awkward, stressful, and toxic situation. i’ve been so stressed that i missed a month of work and checked my self into a behavioral health unit due to suicidal thoughts and plans to self harm. although i do have a job, i’m unable to work extra time hours because the medication i’m on makes me so tired i can’t stay up too long. i am still paying off my medical bills out of my own pocket and because i cut back on my hours, i only make enough to cover food, major essentials, and my phone + medical bills. i don’t mean for this to sound like a pity party as i know everyone is going through a hard time, especially now. but i still need help to start over and heal. i am asking for $1,500 to move into a new apartment with some friends who i know i will be comfortable with and who will make me feel safe—that’s all i am praying for. with your help, this amount will cover my part of the security deposit, first months rent and the cost of moving. i hope to reach this goal by august when my roommates start school. any amount helps. if you can’t donate please consider sharing this with someone who can. thank you for taking the time out to read and thank you for helping. please continue to stay as healthy and safe as possible.
