A local Hecker couple needs your help!

Two life long customers (asked to remain anonymous) of Midwest Carpet and Duct Cleaning our suffering from a sudden and terrible sewage back up in their basement. The bust was discovered by our technicians as they went in to clean the carpets for them in early December. With the medical conditions of the couple, they were not accessing their basement and had no idea that this had happened. The break in the main plumbing stack has been constantly flooding their basement with every use of the toilets in their home. The extent of the damage is so extensive that the at home care they were receiving has refused to return to the home until it is fixed. Ergo, this is an urgent case that needs any money you are willing to donate to cover the expenses.
After a long battle, they have been denied by their insurance for coverage. We are working in conjunction with Tina from House of Neighborly Services in Waterloo, IL and Scott from Adult Protective Services to do all that we can to help them in this time of need.
Please do not get sticker shock! This fundraiser is an attempt to collect funds to help this couple on a fixed income with multiple medical conditions and expenses to fix the plumbing, mitigate the sewage water (hazmat suits required) and affected belongs, and provide the disposal of said water and belongs. Even if you are willing to donate $5, you're still bringing them closer to getting their care back as well as a sanitary environment to live in. We would like to get to our goal within the next few weeks, so share! share! share!
