Blair

Blair our beautiful almost 2 year old girl has been limping off and on for over a year.  We asked at the vet last year and thought growing pains, but the situation has not resolved.  On Friday under a sedated exam  and x-rays they found Blair has patellar luxation level 3 (popping knee cap) and TPLO Tibal Plateau Leveling  Osteptomy a tear in the crucial ligament.  Blair is a very active, happy, healthy girl. She has her adopted furbaby brother who is 3 weeks older then her she loves to play  with.  She loves to run, jump, kiss, play and live life to its fullest and in order to do so this surgery is necessary.   Our originally quote for just the patellar luxation was $2500 to $3000 now add in the TPLO cost and it is between $4500 and $6000 once done with follow up and the appt we already had.   Those of you who know us/me know our pets are family and we will do everything we physically and financially for them. They also know how much I hate asking for assistance especially in the monetary form.  It has been a crazy trying year for all and it is with tears in my eyes that I ask for a prayer or a small donation this holiday season to help offset the extra cost.  Blairs surgery is scheduled for January 8th and it will be a estimated 16 week road to recovery.    Thank you all for your consideration.
