The Franklin Church is Christ is collecting funds that will be sent to the West Freeway Church of Christ to help the congregation with funeral costs, building repairs, counseling, hospital bills and any other costs that the current tragedy has caused.
The Franklin Church of Christ has a strong connection with the West Freeway Church of Christ. Their Senior Minister, Britt Farmer, is the father of one of our deacon's wives and was a former minister here. Tony Wallace and the family of Richard White were active at the Central Texas Christian Camp. Both men lost their lives protecting their congregation.
We have a funeral fund set up for the West Freeway congregation, and any fund donated either on gofundme or directly to the church will be given to the West Freeway Church of Christ so they can direct it where needed.
