Hello! My name is Karen Merkel and I have been friends with Wes for several years. As with many long lasting friendships, time and distance can create some obstacles but, Wes was never far from my heart. Tragically, I learned he was recently in a serious motor vehicle accident and is in critical condition fighting for his life. With mounting hospital bills and the uncertainty of what the future holds for Wes I wanted to offer some help to him and his family in some way.
