Wendy's Fertility Journey

Wendy  began her fertility dream in June of 2016, ready to start a family of her own and determined not to give up, despite the obstacles placed before her. After 2 miscarriages and three years of prescriptions and injections and a failed attempt at IVF Wendy gave it one more chance and her heart was overjoyed with the positive pregnancy test she finally received in June of 2019. After numerous tests and scares she grew to find out she was carrying her miracle - a little man she named Griffin Lloyd Nelson Barnes. From her numerous Drs appointments for gestational diabetes and high blood pressure to throwing her back out, Wendy went through a lot and did everything she could to ensure her baby boy would be ok. Sadly, on January 16, 2020, just four weeks from her planned delivery date, Wendy went to the hospital and was told that her beautiful baby boy had no heartbeat and she would have to deliver him and lay him to rest. On January 17, 2020 at 9:23 PM, after almost thirty hours of labour, the most beautiful, perfect baby boy entered our world, weighing 5lbs 5oz and measuring 18 inches long. We held him, we kissed him and we said our final goodbyes. It was by far the hardest thing any of us had ever had to do. Wendy is now left with trying to pay off the debt of her fertility journey without her little boy at her side. We are just asking if you could find it in your hearts to help a grieving mother and beautiful woman, so strong and brave, pay off the debt incurred to help her relax and heal from this tragedy. My nephew Griffin will always be our guardian angel. I will tell everyone about our miracle! RIP little Griff, we love you and will miss you forever and always. xoxoxo
