Wendy's College Fund, Part Two

Wendy had a great but challenging first year at Santa Rosa Junior College. In the first month of classes the school shut down for two weeks due to the tragic fires in Santa Rosa. 
Many teachers and students lost their homes and possessions. Wendy made it through while doing a daily commute on the Smart Train from San Rafael to a bus in Santa Rosa and on to school, about three hours total commute each day. 
Her second year has started and she is still excited about her opportunity to become a teacher. She had her same job, fourth year, this past summer working with young children of the underserved population.
