Wendel's Big Battle

My brother Wendel, a big hearted guy, with a smile and attitude to match, recently found out he has stage IV cancer.  A terrible diagnosis at a terrible time with the shut downs due to the covid concerns has made it even more difficult to deal with.

He is in clinical trials at the moment but has been out of work for awhile now and could really use some help with everyday expenses, along with the prescriptions that are not covered by the trials.

 He's a Iifelong fan of the SF Giants / 49'ers and although he hasn't indicated what the doctors are saying about recovery or timeline, I assume we will be talking about Jimmy G and the teams playoff chances this fall.

Wendel also lost his son Anthony, his cohort in sports action four years ago and he is admirably upbeat with that loss in heart along with this fight in front of him. I would hope to be half as stalwart as him if I were in the same situation.

As I am about 700 miles away it is difficult to visit when needed especially during the physical distancing protocols in place these days.
