Family and friends,
Many of you know Daniel suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) on August 20th and have been respectful of Jason & Sonja's privacy during this very difficult time - for that they thank you so much and appreciate your thoughts and prayers. The weeks after the accident were nearly unbearable but they have been motivated by none other than Daniel, their little hero. He has remained strong despite all circumstances and continues to bring so much light to a room.
Daniel's recovery will take a tremendous amount of time with hours spent in rehabilitation relearning how to walk, talk, move, and other basic activities we all take for granted. This is in addition to surgeries and procedures that are also necessary for him to heal. As the road to recovery will be long, and costly, this fund was created to help provide services and assistance he will need.
With that, if you have the means to donate, please consider Daniel's recovery fund. Even the smallest amount will help - $3 will pay for a gallon of gas so Jason & Sonja can commute between home and Scottish Rite. $20 is the equivalent of using a cuff to monitor his blood pressure. You get the idea. Anything will help and we will be forever grateful.
We will try to keep everyone updated on his progress - he is doing amazing things and we love sweet Daniel so much.
