Let's Love on the Halls

Brian and Shelby Hall are two of mine and Joel's dearest friends. They came into our lives at such a perfect time when we really needed their friendship. And now, we get a chance to be there for them.
Brian was just told he had stage 2 testicular cancer that had spread into his blood. Thankfully, they were able to remove the tumor. But he now has to undergo some treatment to make sure his chances of remission are significantly decreased. They've been so quick to trust God and lean on Him and each other and, of course, the Lord pulled through. Brian is able to go to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Atlanta, which has limited availability, and consult with their specialists about what his next move should be. That in itself though, is another cost in addition to his surgery, doctor's appointments, scans and other various medical expenses. Now with this opportunity in Atlanta they will have travel expenses, hotel expenses, and have to pay for someone to watch their two dogs.
Yet another expense is the fertility treatments that Brian is doing so that he and Shelby can have a baby. His chances of being fertile will go from slim to slimmer with his cancer treatment, from .02% to .002% to be exact. This will cost them several thousand dollars alone.
As if it's not enough of an emotional burden to find out you have cancer and your chances of having a child will be significantly decreased, anyone who has undergone cancer or fertility treatments knows what a financial stress it is to carry.
But I know the people of God love to come through in times like this. THIS is where we get to show that we are the hands and feet of Jesus and not let anyone amongst us carry such a heavy burden.
Will you join me in raising $5000 to help them with their financial needs at this time? I want to bless their SOCKS OFF. I want to exceed this goal and just let them feel the love of God so tangibly in their life. These are solid, good, God-loving people and I can't wait to see their financial worries disappear.
