Wellness Days 2022

We are raising money to benefit Youth MOVE PA, the youth arm of the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers' Association (PMHCA), in hosting 6 regional Wellness Days events throughout our beautiful state! Each of the Wellness Days events will be hosted in either a State Park or County Park.

 

We talk to ourselves all the time and a lot of what we say is not kind, positive, or supportive. When we treat ourselves negatively, how do we expect others to treat us any differently? With that said, the goal of this year's Wellness Days events is to teach youth and young adults all about how to speak more positively when talking to yourself. Changing that dynamic within oneself is a pretty difficult thing to do! Youth MOVE PA & PMHCA are here to support young people in their journey toward more positivity and self love!

 

During Wellness Days, we will be hosting a Self-Stigma Workshop, supporting young people in their leadership skill building and team building skills. These events are great places to socialize, get outdoors, and have a good time!

 

Your donation will assist in purchasing mealtickets and tshirts for attendees and donations in any amount/form are extremely appreciated!

June 16, 2022 - Keystone State Park - Westmoreland County

June 21, 2022 - Evansburg State Park - Montgomery County

June 23, 2022 - Mauch Chunk Lake Park - Carbon County

July 13, 2022 - City Island - Dauphin County

July 14, 2022 - City Island - Dauphin County
